I'm a designer based in Redwood City currently pursuing new opportunities.

I have three years of design experience working in various stages of a product's journey: from conducting market research, to ideating and prototyping, filing patents, pitching a company and product, and creating a brand. I put people at the center of my design process by placing emphasis on user feedback and product niche.

I'm driven to create products that function in harmony with people and the planet. I believe that the best design seamlessly blends a product into its environment, but leaves the space and its people better than they were before.

At an early age, the iPod mini sparked my passion for design. Opening that white box elicited sheer delight and awe. I was fascinated by how a team of people just an hour away from me could design a mass manufactured product that both influenced me individually and revolutionized the entire music market.

In my own design, I try to elicit inspiration at the personal level and drive change at a broader level.

Founder/Design Director

This was my first experience in creating a product from start to finish. I began with a simple idea of creating a multi-functional, likeable, air purifier, but had no idea how to bring my idea to life. I learned a lot about creating a minimum viable product, cutting out the crap, networking, manufacturing, marketing, holding myself to good habits and breaking out of bad habits.

Product Design Consultant

Being a product design consultant taught me how to listen clients, take their needs, design around them, and then listen to the client again to implement their feedback into the design. I also had to translate the client's desires into a language that 3d printers could understand.

San Francisco State

Design and Journalism Student

I originally planned to become a journalist because I wanted to try to make sense of the world and help others around me understand too. My love for products, though, spurred me to transition into design. As a designer, I'm grateful for my training as a journalist because I've learned how to ask, listen to, and interpret what users really want and need. These principles drive my design process and fuel my desire to create products that help people interact with and understand the world around them.
